Robert Laraia, owner of Wintonbury Consulting,
has over 13 years experience in the Information Technologies
industry with a specialty in design and management of
network infrastructure projects for both large
multi-national corporations as well as smaller companies.
Geographically, these projects have been located across the
United States and throughout Europe.
Mr. Laraia holds several professional
certifications including the RCDD (Registered Communications
Distribution Designer) from BICSI (Building Industry
Consulting Service International). The RCDD certification is
a globally recognized certification indicating superior
network design expertise. He is also licensed by the State
of Connecticut as a telecommunications designer.
He received his undergraduate degree
in Management Information Systems and later his Masters of
Business Administration. Mr. Laraia is the owner of
Wintonbury Consulting, LLC in Farmington, Connecticut.

What
is an RCDD?
Registered Communications
Distribution Designer (RCDD) is a designation for individuals who
demonstrate expertise in the design, integration, and implementation
of telecommunications (voice, data, video, audio, and other low
voltage control) transport systems and their related infrastructure
components. An RCDD is responsible for the detailed design of
new systems and/or the integration of a design into an existing
system.
